I need help with this computer architecture question:

What is the difference between a RISC and a CISC processor?

I'm not sure if I'm understanding the question correctly, but from what I can gather, a RISC processor is a reduced instruction set computer, while a CISC processor is a complex instruction set computer. Am I on the right track?
