How to set up Project64 and Glide64

I am trying to set up my computer to play n64 games but I don't know where to start. I have tried following some guides but they all assume that I know more than I do. Can someone give me a step by step guide on how to set up my computer to play n64 games?

Assuming you would like help setting up the Project64 emulator and the Glide64 graphics plugin:

First, you need to download and install the latest version of Project64 from here: https://project64.net/download.html

Once Project64 is installed, open the program and click on "File > Open ROM." From there, browse to the location of your desired N64 game ROM and open it.

Next, click on "Options > Configure Controller Plugin." A new window should pop up. In the "Controller Plugin" drop-down menu, select "Glide64." Then, click on "Configure" and make any necessary changes to the graphics settings. Once you're satisfied, click "OK" to close the window.

Now, you should be able to play your game with the Glide64 graphics plugin!

Assuming you would like help getting started with Project64 and Glide64:

First, you need to download the latest versions of both Project64 and Glide64.
Once you have downloaded both programs, open Project64 and go to Config > Settings.
From here, you will want to click on the "Input" tab and set your controls how you desire.
Once your controls are set up, go back to the main Project64 window and click on File > Open.
From here, you will want to navigate to the folder where your ROM is saved and select it.
Once the ROM is loaded, you should be able to play it using the controls you set up earlier.
