How to remove Hangouts remote desktop?

I have a remote desktop that I use for work that I need to remove from my google hangouts account. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the hangouts app, but the remote desktop is still there. Does anyone know how to remove the remote desktop from google hangouts?

To remove Hangouts Remote Desktop from Google Hangouts:

Go to Hangouts in Google+
Select the drop-down arrow next to your name
Select "Settings"
Scroll down to the "Remote Desktop" section and uncheck the "Enable Remote Desktop" option
Click "Save" at the bottom of the page

There is no way to remove Hangouts Remote Desktop from Google Hangouts.
