A recent study showed that only 1% of startups are minority-owned. This is a shocking statistic, considering that minorities make up over 33% of the US population. This low number is likely due to the lack of access to capital and resources that minorities face.So, my question is, what percentage of startups do you think are minority-owned? And, what do you think are the reasons for the low number of minority-owned startups?

Unfortunately, there is no more recent data. Nevertheless, it's safe to say that the number of minority-owned startups has increased since 2018, given the rise in awareness of diversity and inclusion initiatives in the startup space.
