I want to know that what rank is required for NSIT Delhi for the course of Information Technology(IT)? I am a bit confused as to what should be my aim. I want to get admission in Delhi University only. So, please help me out with this. I shall be really thankful to you.

There is no specified rank required for admission into NSIT Delhi. The Institute offers admission on the basis of marks scored in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). Candidates who have secured a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12th (or equivalent) examination are eligible to apply for admission. The final selection of candidates is done on the basis of their JEE rank, choices filled, and availability of seats.

The National School of Information Technology (NSIT), Delhi, offers four-year undergraduate programmes in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electronics Engineering (EE) and Instrumentation & Control Engineering (ICE).

As per the 2019 Directorate General of Training (DGT) guidelines, the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to NSIT, Delhi is as follows:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.

• Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in the above-mentioned subjects taken together.

• Candidates must have qualified in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. The rank required for admission to NSIT, Delhi will be based on the JEE Main cut-off released by the Institute.
