I have a Google Sheet that I track all my issues in, but I would like to be able to export those issues into Jira so that I can track them there as well. Does anyone know how to do this?
Here are the steps you need to follow:
Go to your Google Sheet and click on File > Download as > Comma-separated values (.csv, current sheet)
This will download your Sheet as a .csv file
Now, log in to your Jira account and go to the Issues section
Click on the 'Import Issues from CSV' button
Choose the .csv file that you just downloaded and click 'Open'
Select the appropriate mapping for the fields in your .csv file and click 'Next'
Once the import is complete, you will see the newly imported issues in Jira
In order to export issues from Google Sheets to Jira, you will first need to create a CSV file containing the issue data. Once you have created the CSV file, you can then use the Jira issue importer tool to import the issues into Jira.
