There are a few things you need to do in order to create a wholesale customer on Shopify:
Create a customer group
Create a discount code
Add customers to the customer group
Apply the discount code to the customer group
Here are the detailed instructions:
- Create a customer group
Go to your Shopify admin and click on Customers.
On the Customers page, click on the Groups tab.
Click on the Add customer group button.
Enter a name for the customer group, and then click Save.
- Create a discount code
Go to your Shopify admin and click on Discounts.
On the Discounts page, click on the Create discount button.
In the Discount code section, enter a name for the discount code and choose a Customer group from the drop-down menu.
In the Discount details section, choose a Discount type and enter the amount or percentage that you want to offer.
Click Save.
- Add customers to the customer group
Go to your Shopify admin and click on Customers.
On the Customers page, click on the Groups tab.
Click on the name of the customer group that you want to add customers to.
Click on the Add customers button.
In the Add customers to group dialog, select the customers that you want to add and click Add customers.
- Apply the discount code to the customer group
Go to your Shopify admin and click on Discounts.
On the Discounts page, click on the Edit button for the discount code that you want to apply to a customer group.
In the Discount details section, scroll down to the Apply to section.
Under the Apply to section, select Customer group from the drop-down menu.
Click Save.
