There are a few good Google Maps plugins for Ruby on Rails, but it really depends on what your needs are. If you just need to display a map, then the Google Maps API v3 Javascript library will probably suffice. If you need to do more sophisticated things, like geocoding or directions, then you'll need something like the Geocoder gem.
