There are a few ways to manage backlogs in Jira. You can use the kanban board to view and manage your backlog, or you can use the standard issue view. You can also add issues to the backlog from the standard issue view.
To add an issue to the backlog, you will need to first select the issue from the standard issue view. Then, click on the "More" dropdown menu and select "Move to Backlog." This will add the issue to the top of the backlog.
If you want to view the backlog in the kanban board, you can click on the "Backlog" column. This will show all of the issues that are in the backlog. You can then drag and drop the issues to prioritize them.
