Radiologic technologist licensing outside the US

I am interested in finding out if a radiologic technologist license is useful outside of the United States. I know that many people who work in the medical field are able to find work in other countries, but I am not sure if this is the case for radiologic technologists. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about this?
