SAFe has three primary levels:

The Essential SAFe level prescribes the minimum elements needed to realize the benefits of SAFe.
The Portfolio SAFe level describes how to implement SAFe in a Lean-Agile portfolio.
The Large Solution SAFe level covers the challenges and benefits of implementing SAFe in enterprises with large, distributed solutions.
