Startup Weekend is a global nonprofit organization with a mission to inspire, educate, and empower individuals, teams, and communities. They do this by providing a space for collaboration, training, and networking through their events, programs, and resources.
Their signature event is a 54-hour hackathon-style competition where developers, designers, and entrepreneurs come together to pitch ideas, form teams, and launch startups. Throughout the weekend, participants have access to mentors, investors, and resources to help them turn their ideas into reality.
Startup Weekends have been held in over 170 countries and have helped over 35,000 startups get off the ground.
