In February 2019, Swiggy acquired Kolkata-based tech startup TechEagle Innovations. In March 2019, Swiggy acquired Mumbai-based tech startup hyperlocal logistics startup Sendy. In May 2019, Swiggy raised $300 million in a Series J funding round led by Naspers with participation from Tencent, Hillhouse Capital, and Wellington Management.
