How to update Amazon Echo

I'm trying to get my Amazon Echo to update to the latest software version, but it doesn't seem to want to do it. Does anyone know how to force it to update?

If you want to force your Amazon Echo to update to the latest version, you can do so by following these steps:

First, open the Amazon Alexa app on your mobile device.
Second, go to the settings menu by tapping the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen.
Once in the settings menu, scroll down until you see the "Device Settings" section. Tap on the device you want to update.
In the device settings menu, scroll down to the "Software Updates" section.
From here, you can tap the "Check for Updates" button. This will check to see if there is a new software update available for your device.
If there is an update available, it will begin downloading automatically. Once the update has finished downloading, your device will install the update and reboot.
