Assuming you would like help setting up your phone device:
- Make sure your device is turned off. If you're unsure, consult your phone's user manual.
- Press and hold the power button. A menu will appear.
- Select the option to "Turn on."
- Once your device is turned on, unlock the screen. Again, consult your phone's user manual if you're unsure how to do this.
- Find the "Settings" app on your device. The icon looks like a gear.
- In the "Settings" app, scroll down and select the option for "Connections."
- Find the "Bluetooth" option and toggle it to "On."
- Your device will now begin scanning for nearby Bluetooth devices.
- Find the name of your car in the list of available devices. The name of your car's Bluetooth system should appear.
- Select your car's name to pair the two devices.
- You may be prompted to enter a passcode. If so, consult your car's user manual to find the correct passcode.
- Once the devices are paired, you should be able to use your phone hands-free in your car.
