"What technology could make Reddit obsolete?

With the advent of new technologies, what do you think will eventually make reddit obsolete? What will people be using instead?I think that people will eventually get tired of reddit and move on to other things. There are already a lot of other social networking sites out there, and new ones are popping up all the time. I think that people will eventually just get tired of reddit and move on to something else.

There is no one technology that could make Reddit obsolete, but there are a few that come to mind that could greatly reduce its utility:

1) A social media platform that is more anonymous and/or allows for more granular control over who can see your posts.

2) A platform that is better at curating content and organizing it in a way that is easy to consume.

3) A platform that is more dedicated to free and open discussion, and that doesn't allow for as much manipulation by Voting Rings.
