Anyone can create an account and browse startups on AngelList, but in order to invest, you must be an accredited investor. To become an accredited investor, you must show that you meet one of the following criteria:
-Have earned income that exceeded $200,000 (or $300,000 together with a spouse) in each of the prior two years, and reasonably expect the same for the current year
-Have a net worth over $1 million, either alone or together with a spouse (excluding the value of your primary residence)
If you meet one of the above criteria, you can fill out this form to become an accredited investor. Once you are accredited, you will be able to investing in startups on AngelList.
