Venture and startup are not exactly the same thing, though they are often used interchangeably. Generally, a venture is a high-growth, high-risk business, usually characterized by a large amount of initial capital investment and a short timeline to profitability. A startup, on the other hand, is a new business that is in the process of developing a product or service. So, while all startups are ventures, not all ventures are startups.
