Is the Echo Dot being discontinued?

I've seen a lot of people say that Amazon is discontinuing the Echo Dot. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I'm curious to hear what people think about it.

As far as we know, Amazon is not discontinuing the Echo Dot. In fact, they've just released a new, updated version of the Dot. So if you're in the market for a Dot, you can feel confident that it's still a current product.
