Next, open the Google app and tap on the Menu icon (three horizontal lines in the top left corner). Then, tap on Settings and then Voice.
Under the "Ok Google" section, tap on the switch to turn on "From any screen". This will allow you to activate the Google Assistant by speaking the hotword "Ok Google" from any screen on your device.
You can also choose to turn on "Ok Google" detection from Lock Screen, but we recommend only doing this if you're using a secure lock screen method (like a PIN or password).
Once you've turned on "Ok Google" detection, you'll need to calibrate your device. This is so that the Google app can learn the sound of your voice. To do this, just follow the prompts that appear on your screen.
That's it! Once you've done all of this, you can activate the Google Assistant by speaking the hotword
