Creating custom GPS routes on Google Maps is easy! To get started you will need to have an internet connection and a Google account.
First, log into your Google account and open Google Maps. You can then search for the start and end points of the route you want to create. Once you have these marked, you can click on the “Directions” link.
You will then be asked to enter your starting and ending points for the route. After that, put your cursor over the “Options” link and select “More options”. This will bring up a window with two sections: “Avoid” and “Mode.”
Under “Mode,” choose “Bicycle” or “Walking” if you want to create a route that will limit your use of cars and other forms of transportation. Under “Avoid,” you can choose to avoid tolls, highways, and/or ferries.
Once you have selected your Mode and Avoid options, click “Save” and the route will be saved as a custom route. You can also click on the “Share” button to share the route with your friends.
As a bonus, you can also click on the “My Maps” tab to save your route and add directions for others to easily follow.
Creating custom GPS routes on Google Maps is a great way to make getting around easier and safer. With a few clicks, you can have your own personalized GPS route ready to go in no time.
