There have been many advances in the world from 2014-2019, both in technology and in other areas.
Some of the biggest advancements in technology have been in the area of renewable energy. In 2014, only 9 percent of the world’s energy came from renewable sources. But by 2019, that number had increased to 11 percent. And it’s expected to continue to grow in the coming years.
Other technological advances include the rise of artificial intelligence, the growth of the sharing economy, and the rise of electric vehicles.
In other areas, there have been advances in social justice, gender equality, and environmental protection. For example, in 2015, the world reached a landmark agreement on climate change at the Paris climate conference. And in 2018, the #MeToo movement began to bring attention to the prevalence of sexual harassment and assault.
