Tcet Mun is an acronym for Technology, Communication, Energy & Transportation Model United Nations (MUN). It is an organized educational simulated United Nations platform which is jointly organized by The College of Engineering, Pune (COEP), Toc, Hira & Rabbani Educational Trust (THRRET) and Malviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT). The main objective of this MUN platform is to promote technological literacy, knowledge, and responsible decision-making through the use of brainstorming, debating, and research.
TcetMUN basically aims to provide a platform to the students to develop their critical thinking, debating and leadership skills, so they are well prepared to face the challenges in the present digital revolution – the age of Industry 4.0. It also provides an international platform to meet like minded people and build up an international network of scholars.
TcetMUN comprises of four different conferences:
Technology and Innovation Conference: The focus of this conference is to educate and spread awareness on how the integration of technology and innovation contributes to the overall advancements.
Communication Conference: This conference focusses on the role of communication as an important tool in bringing about positive social effects and enlightenment.
Energy Conference: This conference focuses on making people aware of the importance of renewable energy sources and its use in the current world.
Travel and Transportation Conference: This conference focusses on the role of travel and transportation in maintaining the overall growth and development of a society.
It is open to all students of high schools, colleges, and universities. In addition, anyone with prior experience in Model United Nations conferences can also register. The organization committee provides guidance and support in the preparation stages of the conference.
