Jira integrates with TestRail in a few different ways. TestRail can be used to manage and track your Jira tests, test cases, and results. You can also use TestRail to record and track Jira issues.
There are two ways to integrate TestRail with Jira:
The TestRail for Jira Cloud app
The TestRail for Jira Server app
The TestRail for Jira Cloud app is a bi-directional integration that syncs TestRail projects, runs, cases, and results with Jira. The integration is two-way, so changes made in either Jira or TestRail will be reflected in the other. The TestRail for Jira Cloud app is available on the Atlassian Marketplace.
The TestRail for Jira Server app is a one-way integration that syncs TestRail projects, runs, cases, and results with Jira. The integration is one-way, so changes made in TestRail will be reflected in Jira, but changes made in Jira will not be reflected in TestRail. The TestRail for Jira Server app is available from the TestRail website.
